Urgent! Generate Funds for our District Projects

Calling all Lions to please support District 410A to generate funds for our District projects!

We have been provisionally approved for the Woolworths My School, My Village, My Planet card as a beneficiary.   However, in order for us to be fully approved, we need to sign up 50 (fifty) supporters!  So please:

If you are already a My School supporter please could you change one of your three beneficiaries to Lions Clubs International District 410A? Once this has been done please notify Lion Sandy at the District Office.

If you do not have a My School card, complete the application form for a new card. Include Lions Clubs International District 410A as one of your three beneficiaries, complete your personal details, sign the application and forward to Lion Sandy at the District Office.

Remember we need 50 (fifty) My School supporters to qualify and to start reaping the benefits.  Once we have our 50 supports and are fully approved we will start our campaign to increase our supporters base – so watch this space!

Lions Club of Milnerton: Christmas Lunch and Party

Another successful project has been completed by the Lions Club of Milnerton! Thirty Eight special helps were treated to a Christmas Party and Lunch at the Lions Clubhouse on Thursday, 07 December 2017 as a thank you for all their hard work during the year.  The ladies (and men!) were treated to the lovely operative voice of Fuad Sawyer, games, karoeke, dancing and ended with Father Christmas arriving and handing them a bag of goodies for Christmas. Great fun was had by all and even the Lions enjoyed themselves doing what we do best – SERVE!

Lions Club of Gordon’s Bay: Lions Centennial Legacy

The Lions Club of Gordon’s Bay recently presented the town with a Direction Finder as a Lions Centennial Legacy which will be recognised by tourists visiting Gordon’s Bay for many years to come.

Councillor Johan Middleton, DG Geila and Lion President Grant Jonathan of the Lions Club of Gordon’s Bay cut the ribbon to inaugurate the direction finder which is situated next to the entrance to the Steenbras Dam Water Plant.

This prestigious legacy has been recognised by inclusion in Leapfrog Properties electronic newsletter which can be found at this link.

Well done to the Lions Club of Gordon’s Bay!
