The two, 10 week old guide dogs in training, Leo and Melvin, named and sponsored by the Lions of District 410A, were introduced to DG Sue Charles, IPDG Moira Theron, PDG Pierre Theron (District Sight Chairperson), Lion Sundru Pillay (District Marketing) and Lion John Houston  at a media Launch for the upcoming Sight Day Gala Banquet at Kelvin Grove on the 8th October 2015.

Many Lions clubs in District 410A have for many years supported the Guide Dog Association, and are now encouraged to continue to show their support by attending this auspicious occasion, which amongst other dignitaries will be attended by the Premier Helen Zille.
