Lions Clubs International Centennial Service Challenge

October is Sight Awareness Month

Participate in October’s Global Service Action Campaign by Sharing the Vision.

As you look for potential sight service projects, find inspiration from clubs throughout the world. Via MyLCI, clubs have reported projects like pre-school vision screenings, arranging talks on low vision, providing a visually impaired child with an iPad to help with schoolwork, organizing a fishing tournament for blind members of the community, and printing and placing large print menus in local restaurants. Sharing the Vision projects reported through MyLCI will count toward the Centennial Service Challenge.

How will your club help us serve 100 million people by 2017?

Every club is encouraged to get involved in a sight project, particularly during October. However sight projects can be done throughout the year. Remember to report your project on MyLCI. A good idea is to partner with another Lions Club near you to share the costs:
