Merriman Lions in association with the City of Cape Town supplied 13 x 1,5 metre trees to local schools in Goodwood.

Three were planted at De Vrije Zee Primary, Vasco and ten went to JG Meiring High, Goodwood where they were planted with the assistance of the Principal, Teachers and Grade 9 – 11 learners.

The learners are members of the school’s newly formed environment education group called LEAF ( League of Environmentally Aware Fanatics)
